RANDALL - The latest Pioneer Cemetery Program will teach visitors about Hamilton County's earliest settlers, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Boe Cemetery, south of Randall, 3955 Christytown Road.
Local members of the Hamilton County Cemetery Preservation Society will introduce guests to several "residents" of the cemetery and discuss the intents of this newly formed organization. John Laird of Hamilton County Conservation will lead the group in a stone rubbing activity to help decipher stones that are difficult to read.
To reach the cemetery, visitors must go through Curtis Owenson's farm. Drive south out of Randall on First Street, which turns into Tollman Avenue. Follow Tollman as it turns east past Hamilton County Road R61. The Owenson farm is the second farm on the north side of the road past Hamilton County Road R61. Look for the red barn on the north side of Tollman.
Visitors should park on the farm lane; coordinators will pick them up and take them back to the site.
