The Iowa Dental Association sponsored a poster contest as part of National Children’s Dental health Month in February. Third-grade students from Iowa elementary schools were encouraged to draw posters based on the theme “Rock Your Smile.”
Area winners include Hailey Bescharnes, of Pocahotnas, an Iowa state winner; Orion Sweeney, Rockwell City, a Fort Dodge District winner; and Laura Greene, Lytton, a Fort Dodge District winner.
District winners each received $100; state winners received $300 each.
