Kennedy J. Wilson, 17, of Fort Dodge passed away Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Trinity Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 10:30 AM on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Ron Kitterman and Rev. Allen Henderson officiating. Burial will follow at North Lawn Cemetery. A visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home.
Kennedy is survived by her mother, Melissa Wilson and fiance, Mike DeLanoit of Badger; father, Matt Wilson and wife, Cindy of Fort Dodge; brother, Brady Wilson of Fort Dodge; and step brothers, Mitchell and Jack Rasmussen both of Fort Dodge; grandparents, Donald and wife Barbara Wilson of Boone; Patricia Wilson of West Des Moines; Terry and Jerry McGinnis of Boone; and aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins.

Kennedy was born August 7, 1994 in Fort Dodge. She attended Riverside Elementary School, Fair Oaks Middle School, and Philips Middle School. On May 27, 2012 she graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School. After graduation, Kennedy was enrolling at La James International College.
Kennedy loved hanging out with friends. She was very social and outgoing. She loved to read, especially the Twilight Saga and other fictional novels about vampires. Music was important to her, specifically the band Paramore. Kennedy enjoyed drawing and doodled often. She was an avid movie fan and had a soft spot for animals.
Kennedy will be greatly missed by all who loved and cared for her. Memorial may be left to the discretion of the family.
