To the editor:
With all the negative things floating around these days I would like to take a minute and say "thanks." Not too long ago my driveway was a real hazard to back out of due to two large cottonwood trees. After a phone call and a quick inspection it was decided that they needed to go.
Just one month later the city came to the rescue and got the job started. Just this past week they came out and finished the job. I am sure everyone involved probably just believes they were doing their job, but I wanted to say "thank you" to everyone involved anyway. The folks on the phone were great and the men on the ground were respectful and professional. At one point even gave my son and I a chance to watch one of the large trees fall, only asking that we stand very clear "just in case."
I do not know the names of everyone involved, but I wanted to extend a huge "thank you" to all of them for making my driveway safer for my family and friends to utilize. You guys are awesome.
