HIAWATHA - Bradley W. Schaupp, 86, of Hiawatha, IA; formerly of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Saturday June 23, 2012 at the Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha.
Private Graveside services will be held at Oakland Cemetery in Fort Dodge. The Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home is serving the family.
Survivors include his brother, John M. Schaupp of Okoboji; step-daughter, Janie (Jerry) Powers of Cedar Rapids; step granddaughter, Christine Powers; nieces, Nannette and Karen Schaupp; nephew, Scott Schaupp.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Hazel (Woods) Schaupp; wife, JoAnn; and step-son, Sandy White.
Bradley Woods Schaupp was born on April 28, 1926 in Fort Dodge. He attended schools here and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School. Bradley then went out to Los Angeles, CA; where attended the Fred Archer School of Photography. He married Marilyn Trumbower and the couple were later divorced. In 1958, Bradley was united in marriage to JoAnn White. He owned and operated S & S Photography in Vermillion, SD; prior to moving to Cedar Rapids where he worked for Collins Radio (later called Rockwell Collins) until his retirement.
