VIRGINIA BEACH, VA. - Leo Glenn McNeilly, 73, died at his home in Virginia Beach, Virginia, on June 22, 2012.
Leo was born Jan. 26, 1939, and was raised in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He attended Sacred Heart Catholic School and graduated from Ventura High School, in California, in 1956. He served in the United States Army from 1957 until his honorable discharge in 1960. He married Marlena James in 1962 and they were later divorced. On April 8, 1995, he was united in marriage to Barbara Weimer, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Leo was retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
Survivors include his wife Barbara; sons Keith McNeilly, of Milwaukie, Oregon; Rick Weimer, of Virginia Beach, Va.; Sisters Vera (John) Hunt, of Des Moines; Mary Troup, of Keizer, Oregon; Elizabeth Coppinger, of Fort Dodge; Marie (John) Myers, of Orofino, Idaho; brothers Robert (Eleanor) McNeilly, of Fort Dodge; and Thomas (Denise) McNeilly, of Cypress, Texas.
