Paula Ann Thompson, 56, of Fort Dodge passed away Sunday, June 23, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.
Funeral services will be Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 10:30 AM at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home, with Rev. Gary Snook chaplain of Trinity Regional Medical Center, officiating. Burial will follow at Corpus Christi Cemetery. A visitation will be Wednesday, June 27, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Paula is survived by her husband, Wayne; son, Thomas (born September 22, 1996) of Fort Dodge; sisters, Pat Anderson of Iowa City and Peggy Heathman of Fort Dodge.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas "Fritz" and Florence (Dorn) Anderson and brother, Raymond Thomas Anderson.
Paula Ann Anderson was born August 16, 1955 in Fort Dodge. She attended schools in Fort Dodge and graduated from Saint Edmond High School. She then attended La James International College and was a professional hairdresser for a period of time.Paula then continued her education at Iowa Central Community College, receiving her Nursing Degree. For over ten years, she was employed for Dr. Janet Secor. Paula was united in marriage to Wayne Thompson on December 10, 1994at Grace Lutheran Church. The couple established their home in Fort Dodge. At the time of her passing she was working at North Central Home Care as a case manager.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
