Dennis Glenn Kruse, 72, of Fort Dodge, died Monday July 2, 2012 at the Fort Dodge Villa Care.
Visita-tion will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday, July 6, 2012 at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home with a time of sharing at 7 p.m.
Dennis was born July 13, 1939 the son of Glenn and Mabel (Good) Kruse in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He attended and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High. Following high school Dennis enlisted in the United States Navy. He served his country from January 28, 1958 till his honorable discharge on June 20, 1962. He served on the USS Current as a Radar Technician. He was later united in marriage to Helen Strange.

He worked at Larson's Clothing for a number of years. He was an assistant manager at Kenny's Shoe Store in the mall then was the manager at the Kenny's Shoe Store downtown Fort Dodge. Dennis also managed the Spot Concession stand in the mall and a concession stand in the Trolley Center. He retired from the YMCA.
Dennis enjoyed watching ball games and any race he could find on TV. Those thankful for having shared in Dennis' life include his wife Helen, grandson, Kristopher L. Fye, sister in law, Jackie Surles, nieces, Andrea Surles and son and Theresa A. Doster and two daughters.
Mr. Kruse was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Rebecca "Becky" Fye.
The family would like to thank the Hospice Nursing staff for all their care and kindness.
