Classes were canceled today at Iowa Central Community College following a campuswide power outage.
An underground cable was hit by construction equipment, according to Physical Facilities Director Troy Brandt. He said they estimated power should be restored by the afternoon, but that all classes were cancelled to be on the safe side.
MidAmerican spokeswoman Tina Potthoff said no other customers were affected.
