Pauline C. Shapiro, 97, of Fort Dodge passed away on Saturday, July 7, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home.
Visita-tion will be Monday, July 9th, at 9:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. with Msgr. Kevin McCoy officiating. Burial will be at Corpus Christi Cemetery.
Survivors include her daughter Carol Barber of Fort Dodge; grandson, Brian Barber and his wife Elva of Dallas, TX; granddaughter, Chrisann Rox of Carmel, IN; and great-grandchildren, Derreck, Andrew, Gabriela, and Aliyah.

Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; parents, Carmela and Antonio Tedesco; brothers, Angelo, Frank and Joseph.
Pauline C. Tedesco was born on August 15, 1914, in New York City. She graduated with honors at age 16 from Washington Irving High School. On September 7, 1941, she married Albert Shapiro, and they established their home in New York City until moving to Fort Dodge in 1967. Pauline was a homemaker and while in New York she served as PTA president and religion instructor. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish in Fort Dodge. She and Albert enjoyed cards, K of C dances, working at K of C dinners, and games with grandchildren.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
