Nancy Ann Ostendorf Thompson, of Badger, was elected membership vice president of the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority, a Colorado-based organization which aims to "inspire the highest type of womanhood."
Thompson will serve on a board of seven, overseeing an international volunteer base of more than 120 and a membership exceeding 180,000. With an extensive resume of community involvement and volunteerism, Thompson has given more than 17 years to a variety of volunteer leadership positions for Gamma Phi Beta.
Prior to moving into the role of membership vice president, Thompson served as Gamma Phi Beta's sorority director-recruitment.
