COCOA BEACH, Fla. - Matilda M. Laird 78, passed away on Sunday, July 8th, 2012 at Cape Canaveral Hospital in Cocoa Beach, FL. Matilda was born in Fort Dodge, IA on January 21, 1934 to William and Ruby Dunscombe. She is survived by her husband, Franklin L. Laird, sons Kim (Kate), Jamie (Leann), four granddaughters, one Grandson, five great grandchildren, brothers, Dr. Larry L. Dunscombe of Humboldt, IA, David R. Dunscombe, Cocoa, FL, sisters, Shirley D. Daniel, Cocoa, FL and Dolly Rosales, Cocoa Beach, FL. A memorial is planned at a later date.
