SANDY, Utah - Gladys (Chantland) Anderson, of Sandy, Utah, passed away June 10, 2012. She was born in Battlelake, Minn. on Jan. 15, 1925 and was raised in Badger.
She is survived by daughter Lori; son Kelly, and his wife Lin Karpinski; sister Jeanette Larson; and brothers Kermit, Larry, Mervin, and John Chantland.
She was preceded in death by husband Alton; sons Bruce and Dennis Anderson; 3 brothers; 3 sister; and her parents Carl and Cora Chantland.

Gladys graduated from the University of New Mexico and was a principal at Albuquerque Public Schools.
She was buried in Santa Fe, N.M., at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, beside her husband Alton.
