Anith K. Messerly, 92, of Fort Dodge, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at the Bickford Cottages.
A graveside service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, July 14, 2012 at North Lawn Cemetery, with Rev. Steven Peters officiating. Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home is serving the family.
Anith is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, and two sisters.

Anith was born on July 17, 1919 to Charles and Viola (Kerr) Messerly. She was raised and educated in Fort Dodge. In 1937, she graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High. After her education, Anith spent a few years with the United States Civil Service and was stationed in Panama. After leaving the Civil Service she moved to Minneapolis where she worked for Honeywell Corporation for most of her life.
