Johnny B. Seals, 63, of Fort Dodge passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at his home.
Funeral service will be Friday, July 13, 2012 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home, with Shawn Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at North Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Johnny is survived by his children, David Seals and Tanya Seals both of Los Angeles, CA; and Latoya Seals of Meridan, MS; special friend, Florence Brown of Fort Dodge; and five grandchildren; brother, Ray Seals of Madison, AL; sisters, Maple Lee and Beatrice Seals both of Cuba, AL; Ruby Spencer of Fort Dodge; Christine H. Newsome of Houston, TX; Annie Ruth Roberts (Arthur) of Memphis, TN; Dorothy May Spencer (Monroe) of Pontiac, MI and Minnie Lanier of Russell, MS; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray Henry and Buelah Mae Fisher-Seals; an infant son; sister, Annie Dillard; brother Artoe (Henry) Fisher and infant brother.
Johnny B. Seals was born in Cuba, Alabama on June 28, 1949. He attended schools in Cuba and then later Meridian, Mississippi where he graduated from High School. Following his education he moved to Los Angeles, California and began his career in Trucking. In the late 1980's Johnny moved to Fort Dodge where he became a driver for many companies including: Martin Brother's Trucking and Crouse Cartage. He retired in 2000. Johnny loved to fish and enjoyed cooking. He liked to travel and above all cherished his family.
