The Webster County Summer Park Festival will be Saturday at Kennedy Park, north of Fort Dodge.
The nature center will open from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Naturalists will be on hand to explain the things in the center.
Free canoeing and kayaking will be from 5 to 8 p.m.; meet at the Badger Lake boat ramp.
At 9:15 p.m., the movie "World's Weirdest Animals" will be shown in the outdoor amphitheater in Veterans Park on the west side of Badger Lake.
For campers, there will be a "Christmas in July" competition. Campers can decorate their sites with a Christmas theme. Judging will be held Saturday night, with prizes for the top three sites. Prizes include free camping and free cabin rental periods.
