Dale E. Morris, 80, of Fort Dodge, died Sunday July 22, 2012 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 26, 2012 at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home with the Rev. James Laupp officiating. Interment will follow in the North Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Dale was born August 17, 1931 the son of Everet and Selma (Neubauer) Morris in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He was united in marriage to Deloris Bruce in 1949. Dale enlisted in the National Guard serving his country for 8 years and reaching the rank of Master Sergeant. He was employed at Hormel until his retirement.

Dale loved the outdoors especially golfing, fishing and hunting. He and Deloris enjoyed spending time at Okoboji. The couple over the years bowled many frames and spent hours enjoying each others company. Dale loved animals and during his life he has raised beagles and pigeons spending hours training and taking care of them. Dale's heart was always with Deloris where you saw one you saw them both.
Those thankful for having shared in Dale's life include his sons, Dale L. (Ann) Morris of Des Moines, Iowa, Dan (Deb) Morris of Fort Dodge, Iowa, twelve grandchildren seventeen great grandchildren.
Mr. Morris was preceded in death by his parents, wife Deloris on May 6, 2012, son Dean November 20, 2011, one sister, Darleen Zemke and step father Orland Coon.
