Larry and Rose Adams, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday.

Their family includes Leslie Long, Kearney, Mo.; Christine and Donny Eldridge, Kearney, Mo.; Laurie and Vince Beam, Pottersville, Mo., and Mark Adams, Excelsior Springs, Mo. They have nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The couple were married Aug. 3, 1962, at St. Olaf Lutheran Church, in Fort Dodge. He worked at Praxair, formerly Liquid Carbonic, and she worked at Farm Egg until they moved to Kansas City, Mo., in 1984. In Missouri, he continued to work at Praxair in various capacities, and she became a USDA shell egg grader and worked as a quality analyst at Mr. Dells Potato in Kearney, Mo. They recently moved back to Fort Dodge and live in the home that Adams and his father built together.
