The local Catholic Daughters of the Americas court was recognized at the National Convention for Catholic Daughters, held July 18-21 in Omaha, Neb.
Court No. 216 was awarded first place in the nation in its member level category. The club's membership increased the most of any CDA club in the nation, percentage-wise.
Those in attendance were: Regent Rita Carlson; Vice Regent Martha Steinkamp; District Deputies Etta Mae Blair, Kitty Nilles and Rose Mary Ruddy; past State Officer Marilyn Savage; past Court Officers Mary Brezovan and Marie Sheeder; and Court Member Carol Barber.
