Dr. John D. Calisesi, practicing Fort Dodge chiropractor, was elected chairman of the Iowa Board of Chiropractic.
The IBC is a bureau of professional licensure of the Iowa Department of Public Health. Appointments are made by the governor's office. Its function is to license doctors of chiropractic, formulate rules that govern the profession, develop policy for continued education, and investigate and rule on disciplinary cases.
Calisesi has practiced in Fort Dodge for 36 years and has been joined in practice by Drs. Brady Pearson and Carrie Jo Calisesi.
