Glen Thompson, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate his 90th birthday with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday at the Celebration Center at Friendship Haven.

Thompson worked for 20 years as the Extension Recreation Specialist for the state of Iowa. He volunteers extensively for the Lord’s Cupboard, D/SAOC, and Friendship Haven. He is a member of the Golden Kiwanis and Trinity United Methodist Church. He and his wife Marjory have lived at Friendship Haven for 13 years.
