Shelia Grady and Jonathan Roberts, both of Fort Dodge, were married June 2, at St. Olaf Lutheran Church, in Fort Dodge.
Parents of the couple are Frank and Lorene Grady, Fort Dodge; and Arthur and Annie Roberts, of Memphis Tenn., formerly of Fort Dodge.
Matron of honor was Sherry Russell, Des Moines, sister of the bride. Best man was Arthur D. Roberts, Memphis, Tenn., brother of the groom.
Bridesmaids were Tonya Grady, Mesa, Ariz.; Kimmesha Roberts, Fort Dodge, daughter of the groom; Deborah Roberts, Waterloo, sister of the groom; Penny Grady, St Paul, Minn.; and Regina Poe, Fort Dodge. Groomsmen were Jonathan Roberts, Jr., Meridian; St. Julian Dismute, Fort Dodge; Johmal Roberts, Fort Dodge; and James Poe, Fort Dodge.
Flower girls were Olivia Grady, Correctionville; Tiahna Grady, Sioux City; and Jaylah Fennell, Fort Dodge. Ringbearer was Chaise Russell, Des Moines.
Junior groomsmen were were Shawn Roberts, Simeon Roberts and Savion Poe, all of Fort Dodge.
The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Buena Vista University, Fort Dodge, and a master’s degree in psychology with an emphasis on conflict resolution from the University of the Rockies, in Colorado Springs, Colo. She is a case manager with the Fort Dodge Community Schools.
The groom is a graduate of Fort Dodge Senior High and served 13 years in the United States Marine Corps, serving in Operation Desert Storm. He is employed with the Fort Dodge Community Schools in custodian/maintenance.
The couple live in Fort Dodge and plan to take a honeymoon trip to Hawaii in 2013.
