CLINTON, Mo. - Merlene D. Kraft, 71, died Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at her home. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Monday with visitation one hour prior to the service at Lampe Funeral Home in Lake City and burial in the Lake City Cemetery.
Merlene was born in Washington, Iowa, the daughter of Merle and Laverne (Leffler) Duncan. She was a member of the Victory Christian Center Church in Clinton, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother, another brother, Kenneth and a sister, Arlene.
She is survived by her husband, Gary L Kraft, Sr. of Clinton, Missouri; two sons, Gary L. Kraft, Jr and wife, Ann of Clinton, Missouri and Todd Kraft and wife, Angie of O'Fallon, Missouri; one daughter, Gaylene Wheeler and husband, Don of Clinton, Missouri; three brothers, Richard Duncan of Fredonia, Iowa, Lloyd Duncan of Hillsboro, Iowa and James Duncan of KyCee, Wyoming; one sister, Joann Murdock of Elma, Iowa and eleven grandchildren, Tori, Elias, Cena, Ryan, Mallory, Dalton, Josie, Jake, Levi, Dalton, and Emilee.
