Second Baptist Church will celebrate its 125th anniversary at 4 p.m. Sunday at the church, 1827 Fourth Ave. S. The guest church will be Union Baptist Church from Waterloo. The Rev. Marvin Jenkins will be the speaker of the hour and the choir will sing. The public is welcome.
The church picnic is 1 to 6 p.m. today at the Hydro Electric Park.
