LAKE CITY - The Great Getaway Series will focus on Chile and Argentina on Sept. 11.
The three-course dinner will include popular dishes from both countries served at 11:45 a.m. in the pleasant Shady Oaks dining rooms at 1409 W. Main St., Lake City.
At 1 p.m., LaDonna Temple will share highlights of the trip she took in February with a PowerPoint photo program. The program and refreshments that will follow are free, and everyone is welcome to attend. Call Shady Oaks, (712) 464-3106, to make a $7 dinner reservation by Sept. 5.
