To the editor:
Regarding Chris McGonegle's letter of Aug 22: When President Obama said "you didnt get there on our own, you had help along the way," he meant your parents, teachers, etc. When he said "you didn't' build that" he wasn't talking about the business, he was talking about the roads, bridges and utilities that made it possible for business to operate. No one does anything completely on their own, everyone needs assistance to run a business.
On another subject: Romney's billionaires' superpac ads on Obama ending work requirements are complete lies. Many states have requested waivers to try new programs for welfare to work (including Romney in Massachusetts). All the president did was grant these waivers providing they showed a 20 percent increase in welfare to work.
Third subject; If you have a wife, girlfriend, sisters, daughters, granddaughters, do some research on what the Republicans are trying to do on woman's health issues accross the nation.
Lastly, if you are getting you information from Fox News, billionaires' superpac ads, Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck, please do some research on your own, or turn on MSNBC to get balanced information before making up your mind on any subject.
