Marie Bell, 94, of Fort Dodge, died August 30, 2012 at the Marian Home.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at Sacred Heart Church. The family will greet friends from noon until Mass time.

Marie Bauer, the daughter of Charles and Christine Bauer, was born July 6, 1918 in St. Paul, MN. She graduated from Humboldt High School in St. Paul and was employed with the 3M Company. On June 27, 1942, Marie was united in marriage to Maynard Bell. The couple made their home in Farmington, MN.
Marie was a very hard worker who absolutely loved working. She especially enjoyed her employment at Frederick Willy's in Farmington. She loved to cook, sew and take care of her family. Marie was a faith filled woman who loved her church and the rosary. She was the glue that kept the family together. Her very conservative ways taught her family the value of a dollar.
After traveling for several years in their 5th wheel travel trailer, the couple moved to Fort Dodge in 2000.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband Maynard in 2008, her parents, her sister Marian Laszcwski, and brothers Norbert, Chuck and Matt Bauer.
Survivors include her children, Helaine (Mike) Engler of Fort Dodge, Maynard (Eloise) Bell Jr. of Milwaukee, WI and Jim (Mary Jo) Bell of Farmington, MN; 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson; and her brother Tony Bauer of Burnsville, MN.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
