To the editor:
Why is it that people think God should change to fit their desires instead God's desire.
Are their desires more important than God's?
I read where someone said that the zeal a person had found by joining a church was almost lost or could not imagine that they ever had those feelings for Christ Jesus when seeing the dislike for other churches who all confessed that they believed in God and in Jesus Christ and in the baptism for the remission of sin after repentance are the same.
When we come before God's court at the end of times for all mankind's existence here on earth in a mortal body is over and we stand in that court. When they as it were plug into your own brain and see an instant replay of our life on earth what can you say? That I did not know the law, or that the law should have been changed to fit my needs?
We all know about the 10 commandments. At least most people do. It is by those laws that we will be judged and not by man's idea of what the laws should be to go along with their wants and desires. Jesus Christ did not come into this world to judge it but to save it. And all those that believe in him shall not parish but have everlasting life. Now, if you believe in Jesus Christ as your savior, you would do his will, which is to acknowledge his father (God) our heavenly father. And we acknowledge that Jesus Christ is the son of God who did his father's will and came to earth. He witnessed of the father not of himself but of his father's will that all mankind might be saved. This he did to honor his father - not only because of his love he has for his father but the love that he has for us all.
Jesus came down from heaven to show us the way back to the father. Do you think that will change like the seasons change? I think not. He is not like the waves in the ocean. He is more like a rock.
