LEHIGH — Dale and Millie Westre, of Lehigh, will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary Sept. 16.

Their family includes Pam and Ivan Hollman, and Paula and Denny Spencer, all of Fort Dodge; and Peg and Marc Compart, Lehigh. They have nine grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and nine step-great-grandchildren.
The Westres were married Sept. 16, 1947, at the Duncombe Lutheran Church. They were involved in the purebred swine industry for several years. She retired from Trinity Regional Hospital in 1993. He continues to farm near Lehigh.
