The Iowa Central men's and women's golf teams hosted an invitational at the Fort Dodge Country Club on Monday.
The Triton women were the tournament champions with an overall score of 343. Emily Elliott (83) and Ashton Moody (84)?led Iowa Central, with Elliott tying for medalist honors.
AIB's Kara Larson (83) equalled Elliott's effort at the top. AIB was second in the team race at 355.
"We had a great day," Triton head coach David Barwin said. "Everyone improved their scores from last week and put it all together."
The Triton men finished in second place, six shots behind DMACC. Iowa Central shot a 311, led by Cody Brandau and Jacob Brown's 77's.
"We knew what we needed to do (to win), but just took too many strokes on the final stretch," Barwin said. "I'm very pleased with our effort and attitude."
Christian Weilan (78)?and Keegan Bak (79) had the other counting scores for the Triton men.
DMACC's Nate Schill, a former Prairie Valley standout, was the overall meet medalist with a one-over par 72.
Dylan Mackovic (78) paced the Iowa Central White squad (331), while Fort Dodge graduate Nathan Matthes and Alex Paulsen (86)?led the Triton Pro team.
