Matt Alcazar, the Republican candidate for the state House of Representatives in District 9, has been endorsed by the National Federation of Independent Business.
''NFIB is proud to endorse Matt Alcazar because he has a clear understanding of the needs of small business owners,'' Kristin Kunert, the organization's state director, said in a written statement.
Alcazar, of Fort Dodge, faces state Rep. Helen Miller, D-Fort Dodge, in the November general election. They are seeking to represent a district that includes Badger, Clare, Duncombe, Fort Dodge, Vincent and rural areas of northern Webster County.
