ANKENY - The Fort Dodge girls swim team battled Ankeny in a dual meet on Tuesday night.
The Dodgers dropped a 130-40 decision to the Hawkettes.
Angie Ellendson picked up a victory for FDSH in the 100 butterfly (1:10.52), while the 200 medley relay (Elli Russell, Shay Saathoff, Ellendson and Alyssa Nehring) placed second.
In addition, Katy Bocken (200 individual medley, 2:55), Saathoff (100 backstroke) and the 200 freestyle relay (Nehring, Russell, Carrie Gerdes and Ellendson) each settled for third.
"I was proud of Zoey Miller, even though she was injured, for coming down and swimming a leg on our 50 freestyle relay," said Fort Dodge head coach Rosie Ellendson. "We just have to keep working hard."
Next action for the Dodgers is Tuesday at Johnston.
