To the editor:
Today, which is National POW/MIA Recognition Day, we should all take five minutes out of our "busy" schedule to remember the veterans who never made it home. And the next time you see a veteran, a simple "thank you for your service" would mean a lot. As a Vietnam veteran, every time I see a veteran from any conflict, I will thank them. You would also be amazed how many times we get ignored; enough to make me wonder if what I did for my country is even remembered, much less appreciated.
