State Senate Minority Leader Jerry Behn, R-Boone, has been endorsed by the Iowans for Tax Relief Political Action Committee.
Behn is seeking re-election in the new Senate District 24, which includes southeastern Webster County, all of Boone, Greene and Hamilton counties, and northwestern Story County. He faces Democrat Shelly Stotts, of Boone, in the November general election.
"Jerry Behn is the pro-taxpayer and pro-growth candidate in Senate District 24," Lindsay McQuarry, the policy director for Iowans for Tax Relief, said in a written statement.
