POCAHONTAS - Roy E. Balder - age 93, of Albert city, formerly of Pocahontas, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2012, at the Pleasant View Home in Albert City, Iowa.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at the Hope United Methodist Church in Pocahontas, with Pastor Clare DeBoef and Pastor Dawn Freese officiating.
Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery near Albert City, Iowa.
Visitation will be from 4-7 PM, Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at the Powers Funeral Home in Pocahontas, Iowa.
