POCAHONTAS - Velma B. Plautz, age 94, of Pocahontas, passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2012, at the Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.
Funeral services are 1:30PM, Friday, November 2, 2012, at the St. Peter Lutheran Church in Pocahontas, with Pastor Paul Bengtson officiating. Burial will be at Summit Hill Cemetery in Pocahontas, Iowa. Visitation is from 4-7PM Thursday, November 1, at the Powers Funeral Home in Pocahontas, Iowa.
