Questions lack of Benghazi coverage

To the editor:

Congratulations to the Des Moines Register, it is about time a liberal institution recognizes that we will be trouble in the event Obama resumes as president the next four years. What we need now is for the national news to recognize and ask why the Obama administration refused each of the three times the call for help from our men in Benghazi and were told to stand down. It is inconceivable to me to believe that for seven hours there was video in real time in the situation room at the White House and Obama says he does not know. As required by the policy, as I understand it, in the situation room the president is to be notified of digital top secret emails within 10 minutes of receipt. All we hear from Obama is that they are investigating and continues stonewall us. It is a disgrace that the lives of our representatives were compromised because of politics. Only FOX News reports this. If it had been a Republican in this situation the national news agencies of ABC, NBC, CNBC and CNN would have had it on the front page.

Your consideration in reporting this is much appreciated.
