FDSH's Astor first team all-CIC

Fort Dodge junior Lexi Astor earned all-Central Iowa Conference North division first team honors.

The teams were announced recently.

Astor was an unanimous choice on the team after recording a team-high 28 kills in conference matches. She also had seven serving aces, 33 digs and three blocks.

Tiana Mericle was selected to the second team, while Ashley Altman and Maddie Egli were honorable mention choices for the Dodgers.

Mericle, a junior, registered 24 kills and 14 blocks, including 13 solos. Altman added 12 kills and Egli led Fort Dodge with 51 assists. Both Altman and Egli are also juniors.
