JEFFERSON - Funeral services for Helen M. Weant, 86, of Jefferson, formerly of Paton, will be held 10:00 am Monday, November 12, 2012 at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home in Jefferson. Interment will be in the Dawson Township Cemetery near Paton. Friends may call at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home after 10:00 am Sunday, where the family will greet friends from 3:00 - 5:00 pm. Surviving are two daughters: Vicky (Wayne) Lautner of Jefferson, IA and Pam (Terry) Hillegas of Englewood, CO; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Greene County Medical Center Long Term Care Activity Fund, Diabetes Foundation, or Iowa Hospice.
