CALLENDER - Floyd Dean Taylor, 69, of Callender, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at Trinity Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loved ones. Floyd is survived by his wife of 50 years, Joyce; daughters, Rhonda Taylor and Renee (Jerry) Bell; daughter-in-law, Tammy Taylor; grandchildren, Shannon (Brian) Travis, Brayton, Shay, Kaylee, Madison, and Kyra; great granddaughters, Dakotah, Breleigh, and Elly Ana. He lost his son Randy on May 30, 2012. Floyd also loved his furry kids Sally and Daisy May. He is also survived by sisters, Barb (Jim) Gorman and Mary (Dean Nyren. Floyd was a caring and generous man, a lot of people know him only by the name "Gramps", he was that too many. He will be forever remembered and greatly missed; it gives some comfort knowing he is with Randy. Floyd was a 20 year heart transplant recipient and was able to donate as his last gift. His wishes were to be cremated and Floyd requested no service. Friends are welcome to stop or call their home anytime on Thursday.
