TUCSON, Ariz. - Robert Norton Creek, 84, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Tucson.
He
served in the Merchant Marine during World War II, was part of a barbershop quartet, and was a longtime member of Green Valley Baptist Church, where he was in the choir, and of First Baptist Church in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

He retired from Illinois Central Railroad after 40 years.
He moved to Green Valley in 1989 with his wife, Greta.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Greta; daughters Marsha and Sharon; a son, Bill Creek; three brothers; and a sister. He is survived by his three children, Cheryl Brekke of Cheyenne, Wyo., Randy Creek of France, and Phillip Stands of South Dakota; a brother, Dick Creek of Webster City, Iowa; and caretaker and family friend Isis Rodrigues, who is "the best of the best."
Interment will be at Fort Dodge Memorial Cemetery in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
