Job skills, including adult literacy, will be the subject of a town hall meeting Wednesday in Fort Dodge convened by state senators and college leaders.
The session will begin at 2:30 p.m. in the conference room of the Student Services Building at Iowa Central Community College.
State Sen. Daryl Beall, D-Fort Dodge; Senate Majority Leader Mike Gronstal, D-Council Bluffs; and Iowa Central President Dan Kinney are hosting the meeting.
In an announcement, Beall said seeking recommendations on how to meet a job skill shortage is the purpose of the session.
