Jeff Plagge, president and chief executive officer of Northwest Financial Corp., Arnolds Park, has become chairman-elect on the Iowa Bankers Association board for the 2012-2013 year after serving a year as vice chairman.
Plagge is responsible for leading three bank charters within the Northwest Financial Corp. organization: Northwest Bank of Spencer, First National Bank of Sioux Center and First National Bank of Creston. The three banks collectively hold $1.5 billion in assets and have 30 offices throughout Iowa - including Fort Dodge, Algona and Humboldt - and eastern Nebraska. Other entities within Northwest Financial Corp. include Northwest Wealth Management, LLC, and Northwest Commercial Credit Corp.
