Ann B. Kelly, 95, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2012 at Trinity Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, December 7, 2012 in the Chapel of the Marian Home, with Rev. Joseph Dillinger officiating the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will follow at Corpus Christi Cemetery. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home is serving the family.

Ann is survived by her son, John Kelly of St. Michael, MN and sister, Alice Lehrke and her husband Walter of Edina, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Francis (Bouska) Ptacek; husband Herbert in 2007; and sons, James and Paul.

Ann B. Ptacek was born on November 21, 1917 in Cresco, IA. She graduated from Assumption High School. On October 14, 1944 she was united in marriage to Herbert L. Kelly in Cresco and the couple made their home in Washington, D.C. Shortly after the end of WWII the couple moved back to Iowa. They lived in Churdan and Spencer communities until 1960, when they moved to Fort Dodge. They established King Koin Laundromat and Dry Cleaning which they owned and operated until retiring in 1980. Ann was longtime member of Holy Trinity Parish.
