LEHIGH - Rosemary Tigner, 81, of Lehigh, Iowa, died Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home in Fort Dodge.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m., Monday, December 10, 2012, at Christ the King Catholic Church in Dayton. Burial will be in the Otho Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Rosary at 6:30 p.m., at Carson Stapp Funeral Home in Dayton.
Rosemary Therese Crawford was born on March 26, 1931, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, the daughter of Paul and E. Gertrude (Halligan) Crawford.
On December 27, 1952, Rosemary was united in marriage to Charles Tigner at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lehigh. Rosemary and Charles established their home on a farm northwest of Lehigh, and raised four children. She also worked as a secretary for several Fort Dodge companies over the years.
Among the survivors are her husband of 59 years, Charles Tigner of Lehigh, Iowa; sons, Robert (Terry) Tigner of McCook, Nebraska, Richard (Lucy) Tigner of Kingston, Oklahoma, and Ronald Tigner of Lehigh, Iowa; and daughter, Rochelle (Patrick) Impiccini of Phoenix, Arizona; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one sister, Ramona Pierce of Northwood, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Gene Crawford.
