WEBSTER CITY - Webster City Community Theatre will hold auditions for "Sleeping Indoors" at 7 p.m. Dec. 16 and 17 at 1001 Willson Ave., Webster City. The cast consists of two men and two women in the 30s-50s age range.

"Sleeping Indoors" is a funny yet poignant play about an empty nest couple at Christmas time. After adopting five stray cats to fill her maternal void, one day Nora also invites to the house a homeless man that she sees tending a chilled and wet kitten - much to the shock of her husband, Paul, and the amusement of her libidinous sister, Nichole. They soon discover "Dwain" has been keeping a journal of his adventures and it is a literary masterpiece. Fame, however, is not something that Dwain wants any part of.

Production dates are Feb. 15-17 and 22-24, 2013. Bill Greenley and Angela Rottering are directing. For more information, see
