WAUKEE - The Fort Dodge girls basketball team didn't have an answer for third-ranked (Class 5A)?Waukee on Tuesday night.

The Dodgers (2-4 overall) struggled for points, as the unbeaten Warriors (5-0) picked up a 65-15 victory.

Waukee started strong out of the gates, building a 19-6 lead after the first quarter. They pushed the cushion to 42-9 at the half.

Two minutes into the third quarter, the Warriors push had the advantage at 35 to set up the continuous clock.

"They ran a lot of people at us,'' said Fort Dodge head coach Scott Timmerman. "When they go to the bench, they're talent level doesn't drop much.
