Golden Bears win behind Burns' 35

ALGONA - John Burns had another huge game for Bishop Garrigan as they defeated Webster City 67-56 on Tuesday night.

Burns had 35 points for the Golden Bears. Nathan Krieps added 12.

Nich Olmstead paced the Lynx with 16 and Mason Myers chipped in with 15.

MANSON - The Manson Northwest Webster boys stopped Prairie Valley 57-40 on Tuesday night.

Hudson Spedding led the Cougars (5-1 overall) with 17 points. Braden Moser had 10 points and Brody Eischeid added nine.

Cole Black led the Warriors with 18 points. Jordan Samuelson added eight.

POCAHONTAS - The East Sac County boys basketball team beat Pocahontas Area 61-58 on Tuesday night.

Reed Tellinghisen led the Raiders (4-2 overall) with 29 points. Jason Kraft chipped in with 15 points.

Aaron Youngberg had 24 points for the Indians (4-2). Jay Brinkman added 19.

CLEAR LAKE - The Clear Lake boys basketball team toppled Clarion-Goldfield 73-40 on Tuesday night.

Stephen McAtee led the Cowboys (1-5 overall, 1-4 North Central Conference) with 12 points.

Trenton Sann had nine points.

Bryson Hamilton had 16 points for the Lions (4-1).

ROCKWELL CITY - The South Central Calhoun boys basketball team defeated Southeast Webster-Grand 71-19 Tuesday.

Ben Clark led the Titans (3-3 overall) with with 15 points.

Jace Neubaum added 14 and Andrew Van Hulzen had 10.

Curt Castenson had six for the Eagles.
