CARROLL - The St. Edmond wrestling squad looks to ride the momentum gained from an impressive performance at the Emmetsburg Invitational into its final three outings of 2012.
The Gaels (1-2 overall) travel to Carroll to face the Tigers and Perry. St. Edmond meets Perry at 5:30 p.m. and Carroll at approximately 6:30 p.m.
With tonight's dual, a spot in the Tiger-Knight Invitational on Saturday and a dual against Algona next Thursday, the youthful Gaels are hoping to finish strong before winter break.
"It's important for us to keep making positive steps forward heading into the layoff,'' said first-year St. Edmond head coach Tanner Utley. "We just went through a tough tournament (last Saturday) and we need to keep climbing that rope.''
