"I really thought Alli played her best game of the year," said SEHS head coach Scott Messerly. "We were able to kind of put everything together late in the first quarter and into the second, as our defense stepped into the passing lanes and the girls converted on the other end."

St. Edmond forced 34 turnovers against the Lynx (2-6, 2-5), turning them into 26 points. The Gaels did commit 31 turnovers of their own, but shot 45-percent from the field.

Huss and Yung scored eight consecutive points to close the first quarter and complete a 12-1 run that pushed St. Edmond's advantage to 16-6. The Gaels pushed that lead to as many as 20 in the second.
